I have spoken to friends in Cairo, 6th of October city and Alexandria, another one was in Tahrir square in Cairo. They all said the same, PPl are in the street either demonstrating or protecting houses and families, army is at least protecting demonstrators in Tahrir square in Cairo, Last night was the worst since #Jan25, People marched yesterday from Naser city to Ramsees square they were attacked by casualties, suffocated by tear gas, beaten, a lot of shooting from ambiguous places\ ppl. Houses are running out of food, ppl can't withdrew money to buy food and essentials, ATm machines were broken and roped, Banks are closed, It is the end of the month and ppl need money. Some shops dared to open and give ppl food. systematic police and ministry of interior interfere between ppl shooting on protesters, a lot of attacking and looting. national committees formed by the civilians of Egypt are doing great job, protecting ppl, arresting thugs and turning them to Police.
ppl are dividing themselves: with families staying home, go to squares and protests and in committees.
Wael Abbas tells me that what ppl are now aware that this is systematic and it aims to scare people and kill the revolution.
A message from my friend in Alexandria "It is not secure at all, we are in the streets, protecting our families and properties, we have no weapons but knives, sticks and stones. a call to anyone in this country to protect us from thugs and thieves, food and money doesn't matter today but security"
